Production and operation characteristics of refractory industry in 2020

       The tax revenue of the main production areas decreased significantly in 2020.
       China Refractory Industry Association had tracked the operation of key traditional refractory producing areas such as Yingkou City, Haicheng City and Dashiqiao City in Liaoning Province, Xinmi City, Gongyi City and Yichuan County in Henan Province, Yixing City in Jiangsu Province, Xiaoyi City and Yangquan suburb in Shanxi Province, Changxing County in Zhejiang Province and Zibo City in Shandong Province.In 2020, the industrial tax in the main refractory producing areas in China dropped by 27%, which is a large margin. In addition to the impact of tax reduction and fee reduction policies at the national level, the main reasons for the sharp decline in tax revenue are the decline in industry prices and lower benefits than 2019. In the annual refractory tax revenue, Jiangsu Yixing, Henan Yichuan, and Shandong Zibo increased, and the rest were negative. The above situation provides another perspective to understand the operation quality of the industry in the main refractory producing areas, indicating that the economic benefits of the industry operation in the main refractory producing areas in 2020 are much worse than those in 2019.
