Clay Bricks

Clay products belong to acid refractory products, and their acidity increases with the increase of SiO₂ content. It has a certain erosion resistance to acid, but a poor resistance to alkaline erosion. There are different kinds of clay brick, such as low porosity clay brick, ultra-low porosity clay brick, low creep, low porosity, low iron clay brick and so on. Therefore, clay products should be used as refractories for acid furnace.  Large clay bricks used for glass tank are clay brick with a weight of not less than 50kg for schamotte brick.
